PTZ Controller software supports Canon protocol for Canon VC camera series and Canon XU/BU camera series.
PTZ Controller allows you to control your Canon Pan Tilt Zoom camera, such as VC-C4 and XU80, with your computer. That is you can control your Canon PTZ camera with the standard computer mouse and keyboard instead of PTZ keyboard or PTZ joystick hardware.
To control Canon PTZ camera with PTZ Controller software:
1. Download and install PTZ Controller software, and run PTZ Controller software.
2. Click the main menu to select Canon VC protocol or Canon XU/BU protocol.
3. Be sure to select the right Baud Rate and COM Port connected with your Canon PTZ camera.
4. You also need to select Camera address if you have more than one camera connected with your computer. Otherwise, just keep the camera address as default value.
5. Now, it’s ready to move the mouse or press the keyboard to control your Sony PTZ Camera.
Note: Sometime, your computer needs to be restart before you can control your Canon PTZ Camera with PTZ Controller.
